Tim Vickers – Manufacturing Specialist
Tim Vickers, a 23 year manufacturing professional, has held positions as Business Venture Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Superintendent, and Project Engineer for manufacturers in the metal working, electronic assembly and furniture industries.
During the course of his career, Tim has gained significant insight into continuous improvement, quality, safety, plant layout, cellular manufacturing, pull systems, team problem solving and root cause analysis, all of which contributed to the overall achievement of organizational goals for his employers and clients, alike.
Since joining KMAC, Tim has served both as a Project Manager and led the implementation efforts for a broad spectrum of clients in industries including food and kindred products, apparel and textile products, lumber and wood products, furniture and fixtures, printing and allied industries, chemicals and allied products, rubber and plastic products, primary metals, fabricated metal products, machinery, electrical and electronic machinery, transportation equipment, and measuring, analyzing and controlling instruments.
Tim, a graduate of Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina, is an ISO 9000 Internal Quality Auditor and a certified Lean Manufacturing instructor.
